Once upon a time, I left a very good paying job with great opportunities ahead, not because I had another one lined up but was because I needed to take care of home for a while. This is a whole story for another day and probably another place. The decision was not easy and people did not understand but I stood on my conviction and the support of my inner circle.
The lesson here is not that you should quit you job, but rather that as you strive for career success, ensure that your priorities are in correct order and that your success aligns with that correct order of priorities. The success being pursued should not be at the cost of your faith, family or fitness (holistic wellbeing).
