Not Every Season is For Pushing. Some Are For Pausing

Let’s talk about it…

As professionals, especially in fast-paced environments (raise your hand if you work in a fast-paced environment), weโ€™re conditioned to constantly produce, perform and prove. But here’s the truth: Burnout doesn’t prove your commitment.

Similar to how processes of nature have cycles – planting, growing, harvesting, resting – so do you. Your body, mind, and spirit were never meant to grind endlessly.

๐™„๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™ค๐™จ๐™ฅ๐™š๐™˜๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ: Do you know which season you are in? Are you in a growth season? Or are you in a recovery season that you’re trying to ignore?

Wisdom is knowing when to move and when to rest. When to show up, and when to sit back and refill. Taking a break is not weakness. It’s strategy. Take that annual leave you’ve been putting off. Because when you understand your cycle, you no longer force fruit out of dry soil – think about that.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens”
